Jazmine Marie (b. on April 9, 1987), is an American soul/R&B singer from the United States. Fearless, Jazmine Marie Sullivan's debut album was recorded in Philadelphia. It was a top hit on Billboard's Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums charts and was also certified platinum by Recording Industry Association of America. The album was followed by four singles among them "Need U Good" and "Bust Your Windows", both of which were in the top 40 of the Billboard Hot 100 chart; the former became Sullivan's first as well as the first single to top the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Song Billboard chart. Sullivan's second album, Love Me Back in 2010 and Love Me Back in 2011, followed. It received a positive reception by critics. Following a break of three years, Sullivan signed with RCA Records and debuted her first album of her own under the label, Reality Show, in 2015, and it became her first album to peak in the top spot on the Top R&B Albums chart. In 2021, she debuted the critically-acclaimed EP Heaux Tales which has the track "Pick Up Your emotions". Sullivan was awarded two Grammy Awards, a Billboard Women in Music Award and three NAACP Image Awards. Time classified her as one of their 100 most influential people of 2022.
